Your Voice Matters!

HWETL is stronger when members are informed, engaged and involved. Whether you’re passionate about public education, interested in supporting your colleagues or ready to take on a new challenge, there are many ways to make a difference. Your ideas, experiences and perspectives matter. Together, we can help shape our Local and strengthen the future of public education.

Participation Opportunities

Being part of a community is what makes union membership so empowering. Our members are the union, and every little way we contribute to our cause helps to build everything we represent.

From attending Local meetings and sharing your perspective to participating in events, supporting initiatives or connecting with fellow members, every contribution counts. Taking part is an opportunity to build relationships, develop new skills and have a say in the issues that affect you and your colleagues.

Speak to your steward or get in touch with HWETL directly to find out how you can have an impact on what we do together.
